Seller: Alley-AntiquesDESCRIPTION: The price is for one early Mason's Patent Ironstone soup plate. Has the early straight line impressed mark which dates this to the 1813-1820 time period. Beautiful early chinoiserie pattern. The pattern is sometimes called Mandarin, or Mongol, or Mandarin and Mongol depending on who you ask. It is not a common pattern. When you do come across this pattern it is usually found with black, green with red colors. This is a scarce color variant in an iron red color with gold gilt highlights(sometimes called Mandarin red pattern). Very stunning and scarce plate. It is marked on the back with only an impressed "Masons Patent Ironstone China" which dates this to the 1813-1820 time period. Antique.200 years old. Very Good condition for age. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Very minor surface wear and a few utensil marks Displays beautifully. Hard to believe it is 200 years old. Rare color variation on this. Measures about 9 1/2" in diameter. Shipping total includes insurance, and delivery confirmation.

We usually ship 3 to 5 days after payment clears. All items sold as-is where-is. We are only responsible for the item while in our possession. We will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping. We will pack all items VERY WELL with bubble wrap and peanuts(furniture will be packed by the shipper). That is why ALL of the items purchased require insurance. In the unlikely event an item is damaged or lost by the mail/shipper we will work with you to help you file your claim, but the settlement will be between you and the carrier. Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements on furniture items. We do have the phone number/email address of a couple of good shippers and will forward this if needed.
